Sheilla Mamona, otherwise known as Shei [SHAY] first joined GLAMOUR as the Beauty and Features Assistant in the middle of a pandemic before being promoted to Beauty Writer. She has bylines in publications such as British Vogue, The Sunday Times STYLE, Cosmopolitan, and The Telegraph. She is a Maths grad that is now busy playing with lipsticks and writing about things she cares about like beauty and entertainment. She is passionate about racial equality, loves to dance, is a music nerd and a Black beauty connoisseur. She has interviewed the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, Gossip Girl's very own Ed Westwick, Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness, Tracee Ellis Ross, and the incarcerated Russian grand larcenist Anna Delvey. She has also been a guest on BBC Woman's Hour. She spearheads lucrative beauty franchises that are highly praised by external brands. Her visibility and work have earnt her a Highly Commended Award at the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards (BSMEs).
