Fun fact, we're all looking for updo hairstyles. Over the past year searches for the trend have exploded by a whopping 174 per cent. And, no surprises, we have nineties nostalgia to thank for some of the major headliners.

The Pammy updo (inspired by Pamela Anderson's ‘90s signature tumbling bun) has been brought back big time to become a celebrity favourite and one of the most stunning triumphs to emerge from the latest slew of hair trends. The sexily dishevelled style lifts hair off the nape of the neck and shoulders and piles strands up around the crown, with tendrils left loose at the front. It's glamorous, tousled and our new go-to when we want to sweep our hair up. Elsewhere the spiky bun has become a staple influencer updo. The Tinkerbell bun has repeatedly graced the red carpet and we keep seeing intricate and experimental top knots and half tucks to keep us inspired.

As well as looking super stylish, an updo is a great way to manage second-day (or even third-day) hair.
